Chart Arrangement Proposal

Picture
As healthcare continues to focus on cutting the cost of care by standardizing approaches to patient care, we need to look for ways to do that.     It is likely that the ER will continue to be a major access point for patients into the healthcare system, so we need to be working as efficiently as possible.   EPIC will change a great deal of what we do, but starting to look at what information we have, how important it is to keep 'handy', and how long it takes to access that information can be very useful to us when we start making decisions about organizing our electronic desktops.
I posted a proposal for arranging the clipboards we have.   Please take an opportunity to consider this and work with your teammates to move us further toward the safest, most efficient and effective care we can provide.
Make your comments at the Nurses Station, or on the paper copy on the door.
